On the road...for real this time

So the summer travel season officially kicked off for us. Ginger picked me up from a school conference in Keystone and we were off to Glenwood Springs to celebrate our anniversary for the night. After a very relaxing stay in Glenwood we made our way to Moab.
On our way to Moab we drove down the scenic highway 128 which led along the Colorado River and past the landscape that has been used in hundreds of western movies. Really anytime you see a western with a desert scene with tall rock formations in the background this was the area we drove through.
When we arrived in Moab we met up with our friend Tyler who works for Outward Bound and lives in Moab. Needless to say, he is familiar with the area and enjoys being outdoors. We spent the day hiking around Arches National Park looking at all of the amazing formations and taking all of the tourist photos we could.
